2. Evita di farvi perdere tempo davanti all’armadio. Sta bene con tutto.
Il little black dress. Il chiodo. I pantaloni di pelle nera.

Buon sabato!

All-black everything: 8 worthwhile reasons to wear black

I’m in my Parisian home, aka in my room at Louison Hotel, and today I show the first outfit I wore yesterday in this rainy Paris Fashion Week. If you follow me on my Instagram and Snapchat (@lauracomolli) you may know that I’ve attended the Issey Miyake fashion show at Les Tuileries gardens: a show, as always, sophisticated to the smallest detail (have you seen the printed invitation on my Snapchat ?!) and very impressive. But what I liked the most was being able to get to the backstage, to take a close insight to the collection and the models to the stage makeup! For the occasion, I have chosen to focus on a trusty all-black outfit, something which I has not done in time. Leather jacket on a total look made up of a top with geometric tone on tone pattern and cropped  pants by Calcaterra. To revive I added a pair of glitter heels (if you are wondering how I resist all day with these shoes, HERE I reveal a few tricks!) and a bag with super colorful details! I like wearing all-black everything. As for me, I’m sure, to a lot of you. Black is an evergreen color, pardon the pun. I think there are at least 8 good reasons to wear black… Check them out!

1. It is obvious to say, but black is a slimming color. More than any other dark blue, dark gray, dark red … More than any other color.
2. It avoids you to waste your time in front of the closet. It goes with everything.
3. It allows you to get out of your comfort zones. For example, the leather biker jacket I wear is very particular, because of the buckles and the detail of the corset-style laces… I probably would not have dared such a challenging model in a color other than black.
4. It is reassuring. It makes you feel protected from the gaze of others when you do not want to be noticed.
5. Bring out the other colors you are wearing. When you want to focus attention on a detail or a particular accessory, wear black it is the best way to do it.
6. It feels more elegant, sophisticated, chic.
7. There are leaders who can be just blacks. The little black dress. The biker jacket. The black leather pants.
8. It does not age. Indeed, it is fitting for all ages.

Are there other reasons I haven’t mentioned? These are just the first ones that came into my mind… Let me know what do you think in the comments below!
I leave you with the images of the look… Happy Saturday!
