Viaggio in Provenza e Costa Azzurra: Cosa vedere in inverno!

Buona domenica a tutte voi!

Provence and Cote d’Azur: Our trip!

As already know those of you that already follow me on Instagram (@lauracomolli), this year I decided to spend my New Year’s Eve in a somewhat different way: no mountains and snow, only the sea. Our trip to Provence and French Riviera started on 30th December: the first stop was Monte-Carlo, where we were literally conquered by the wonderful decorations made for Christmas and the New Year’s Eve. The Place du Casino full of snow, Christmas trees everywhere and a fabulous atmosphere. I’m used to come here for summer holidays but I had never been this season and I have to admit I absolutely it did not disappoint my expectations: Montecarlo always knows how to leave you speechless. A lovely tea at the Hotel de Paris and then we continued our journey to Saint Tropéz, where we planned to spend New Year’s Eve. A new year which was very simple but romantic: a dinner made up of pancakes at 11 p.m., many laughs, a wonderful walk on the harbor and the fires on the sea. Do you know a better way to start 2015?
After Saint Tropez we have went into the heart of Provence, straight to Hyéres, a small village in the south of the France: a picture-postcard village with white sand bitches and crystal clear water.
You may say, but why did you go to Provence in the winter? I wanted a different kind of trip, a relaxing trip, away from the crowds of tourists that flock to the big city at this time of year. I wanted to walk along the beach, sunbathing, getting lost between villages and typical local products. It was a wonderful opportunity to share some quality time with my boyfriend before the upcoming months that will often take me away for business. It was the perfect trip and I really could not ask for more.
I hope you like photos: some of them have been already seen on Instagram, while others are unpublished!
Good Sunday to you all!
