The 25th of April in Italy we celebrate the liberation. My grandmother used to tell me that on the 25 April of 1945 as soon as the news has begun to spread out all the people started to dance along roads, squares, streets all around Turin. And a very great party invaded the whole city and the whole Italy. It’s so exciting when true feelings comes out. Thanks to this day and to these people we feel free today. And, as Enzo Biagi said, “some Resistance is never ended.”
Il 25 di Aprile in Italia si festeggia la liberazione. Mia nonna amava raccontarmi che il 25 aprile del 1945 non appena la notizia ha iniziato un po’ a diffondersi le persone prese dalla gioia hanno cominciato a ballare per le strade, per le piazze, per le vie di Torino. E un’enorme grande festa ha invaso l’intera città, l’intera Italia. Uno spettacolo emozionante fatto di sentimenti veri. Grazie al quale oggi possiamo sentirci liberi. E, come diceva Enzo Biagi, “una certa Resistenza non è mai finita”.
