I couldn’t have chosen a more special destination for my first trip of 2020. A tropical island with some of the world’s oldest rainforests and long sandy beaches.

I have just spent five wonderful days in Trentino, between Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, discovering spectacular granite mountains, exquisite food and many nature and outdoor activities that these places offer.

I just came back after a week in Kenya. I dreamed of going on a safari in Africa from the first moment I set foot in Italy after my trip to South Africa last spring!

In recent years I have often found myself traveling to the Middle East and my tour, after Dubai, Oman and a part of Saudi Arabia, continued with a visit to Qatar. It’s a peninsula of the Arabian peninsula, located right in the middle of the Persian Gulf.

My week could not have a better start: a special meeting at the Dior corner of the new and elegant Rinascente in my city, Turin, to discover the exclusive collection of luscious fragrances by Maison Christian Dior.

Within a month I came back to one of my favorite places in the world. Perhaps my absolute favorite. A place where kindness, good manners and good humor never fail. In which I really feel at home.
