Leather military jacket & 5th day of NYFW
Jackets, coats and parkas: the military style is going to be a huge trend this fall. Large round buttons, toggles, belts that define the waist and emphasize squared shoulders. The cuts are structured, such as the one of my leather jacket with platinum-colored details. How to match it? In a look all played on proportions and on the combination of black and blue denim. I paired under my leather military jacket with an oversized shirt and a pair of Levi’s 501 jeans, discovered by a fluke in a vintage boutique in Brooklyn (they are the rarest to find)! For shoes I chose a pair of black pumps with straps and my new shoulder bag by Valentino embellished with turquoise stones.
This is the look I wore during my sixth and last day of New York Fashion Week, for Michael Kors fashion show and later for and a long walk in the Upper East Side.
