White long vest: An elegant outfit for spring
Long vest. Originally conceived as a male garment, it has already been decades since the vest has arrived in the female wardrobe. In the recent seasons we started to see it in a maxi version, worn over the jacket or coat. This spring you have to choose it even longer, until it get almost to the ankles. Better if in a rigid fabric, which doesn’t get wrinkled at first movement. Here’s how I paired my long vest in an elegant outfit for spring!
White long vest & 4th day of PFW
I styled my white long vest with other pieces of the same color: a turtleneck sweater with the hem frayed only at the neck and some soft wide-legged trousers. A pair of heels and my new Lady Dior bag, bought the day before in Paris, completed the look! If you follow me on Instagram @lauracomolli you may already know all about the bag: the strap contains three charms, which were chosen by me and stamped on the spot. “L”, that is my initial, an image of the historical boutique of the brand, located at 30, Avenue Montaigne, and “CD” for Christian Dior. As a model I chose the small size, but very spacious inside, in black leather with silver details… In my opinion, a timeless piece!
This is the look I wore for Giambattista Valli fashion show. Thanks to M.A.C. Cosmetics I also took part in the backstage and previewed the realization of the makeup and the dressing the models. Here are some pictures I took!
