Durante le mie vacanze, qualche settimana fa, ho avuto occasione di cenare accanto ad un maestoso castello medioevale. Abbastanza in alto da poter ammirare la verdissima pianura distendersi sotto ai miei piedi. Abbastanza in alto da poter ammirare il momento esatto in cui il sole lascia dolcemente spazio alla luna. E alle stelle.
Il mio corpo avvolto in una peplum skirt floreale: rossa, blu elettrico, arancione, lilla. In grado di racchiudere quasi tutti i colori dell’arcobaleno in un’unica ed allegra fantasia. Ricordo che quando l’ho acquistata ho pensato “Questo è sicuramente uno di quei capi che non si farà mai fatica ad abbinare”. E così è stato.
Sopra, leggermente blusante, una tee menta, i bordi delle maniche ritagliati in perfette onde simmetriche, definite ed essenziali. Di quelle che a volte disegnamo distrattamente mentre siamo al telefono, per ingannare il tempo. Ai piedi un paio di deliziose ballerine, semplici e perfette nella loro semplicità. Anch’esse menta. Come anche gli orecchini, del resto. Il mio pezzo irrinunciabile. Sempre e soprattutto in estate. Sanno farmi sentire ricercata, anche con il look più semplice. Tra le dita stringevo solo una clutch, di quelle in pvc con interni intercambiabili. Conchiglie e sassolini marini sullo sfondo del disegno. E molto molto colore. Del resto avremo tutto l’inverno per rifugiarci nei toni cromatici più scuri. No?
Few weeks ago, during my summer vacations, I had dinner nearby to a stately medieval castle. I was high enough to admire the green lowland under my feet. High enough to admire the exact moment in which sun softly left its space to the moon. And to the stars.
My body wrapped in a peplum floral skirt: red, electric blue, orange, lilac. Almost all the rainbow shades in a beautiful an fun fantasy. I remember that when I purchased it I immediatly thought in my mind “This is surely one of that heads that I will never find hard to combine.” And so it has been.
Above the skirt I wore a mint tee with some perfect and symmetrical waves at the end of sleeves that make it such chic and essential. On my feet a pair of delicious ballerinas, simple and so perfect in their simplicity. In a mint color too. As my earrings, after all. The piece I love the most when I create an outfit. Always and especially in summer. Maybe ’cause they make me feel refined, even with the easiest look. Among my fingers I held a colorful clutch, made up in pvc with interchangeable inside. Shells and sea pebbles on its background with thousand tonalities. After all we will have the whole winter to shelter us in the darker chromatic tones. Don’t we?
