Il nostro secondo giorno a Parigi volevamo dedicarlo interamente alla zona dei magici Champs Elysées, salvo accorgerci, una volta raggiunta Place Vendome, che tutti i negozi erano chiusi. E’ vero, era domenica, ma chi l’avrebbe mai detto che di domenica, a Parigi, i negozi chiudessero? A Milano sono sempre tutti aperti e anche a Torino, ultimamente, la maggioranza dei negozi apre anche il settimo giorno della settimana. Abbiamo così dovuto cambiare programma al volo, decidendo di dirigerci verso la zona di Montmartre. Con la sua sontuosa basilica bianca, i suoi prati verdissimi e i suoi centinaia di artisti di strada. Uno dei luoghi che da sempre prediligo. In particolare quando il sole splende alto nel cielo ed è possibile rilassarsi sulla sua collinetta, prendendo il sole, facendo pranzo o addentrandosi tra le sue strette viette fino a raggiungere la piazzetta degli artisti, per farsi fare un ritratto o anche solo ammirare le loro uniche creazioni.

We would have liked to spend our second day in Paris around the Champs Elysées area, but when we came there we found that all the shops were closed. Yes, it’s Sunday I know, but in Milan, and even in Turin, on the seventh day of the week the shops are almost all opened. So we couldn’t imagine that wasn’t the same in Paris. Afterall we have to change our programs and we decided to went to the Montmartre area, to enjoy the amazing green grass, the stunning church and the awesome street artists all around there. It was such an amazing sunny day and it was definitely the best place to spend it!
