2 days in Milan
2 days in Milan. We’re now in the last few months of this fantastic 2017 and I find myself thinking about how lucky I am to travel. And to visit gorgeous places. And staying in sensational hotels. Most recently at TownHouse Duomo, a hotel which has hosted me for two days in Milan. Today I tell you all about my experience!
2 days in Milan at TownHouse Duomo
You may know that I live in Turin but travel often to Milan and when I find myself having to stop there for the night, I frequently stayed at Hotel TownHouse Galleria, located in one of my favorite places in Milan, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Just a few steps away there is another hotel of the same group, the TownHouse Duomo. The location is absolutely amazing, inside one of the most historic and architecturally elegant buildings in Milan, but not only: it is the only 5-star hotel with a panoramic view of the Duomo of Milan and the surrounding area!
The room I stayed in was nicely decorated and very spacious with an extra wardrobe (perfect for my clothes!) and a bathroom with shower and bathtub.
At TownHouse Duomo there are only 14 rooms, 8 of them are the suites overlooking the Cathedral, each different from the other as they have been designed by eight different Italian architects… As if that was not enough, the terrace with a view makes them even more unique!

The magnificent location allows you to be really close to the most elegant restaurants in Milan, including the Ottagono Restaurant & Lounge, which boasts a privileged view of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and a selection of excellent dishes and wines. The late-night walk around the almost completely empty Galleria is an absolute privilege!
Here comes to an end my experience at TownHouse Duomo: my knowledge of Milan is enriched with new ideas, new perspectives and new addresses that make the city even more special in my eyes.
