Outfit festa 18 anni: quanti ricordi!

Buon martedì a tutte!

18th birthday party outfit: a long low cost dress!

I’m closer to 30 than 18 and I never thought that I would have been invited again to an 18th birthday party. I attended my last one many many years ago, but I still remember the excitement I felt every time I got an invitation. I didn’t go to disco often, less than the other girls of my age, so these parties (which took place in most cases at disco) were for me a beautiful opportunity to have fun with my closest friends: talks, laughs and dancing all together.
I loved so much this kind of parties so every time I got an invitation, I studied my outfit in every single details. My outfits were simpler than now, suitable for a teenage girl: I was aiming mostly on black and I played a lot with accessories (necklaces and bags were my favorite pieces to make my outfit unique).
I never thought of being invited again to a 18th birthday party today that I have 27 years. It was a very a formal 18th birthday party, which required a suitable elegant dress. I chose this a long white dress with amazing peplum on my wait: as you know I’m mad about this kind of models (do you remember the dress I wore on the Venice Film Festival red carpet?).
The peculiarity of my dress is neither color nor the model, but, above all, the price: it’s a long low cost dress, found on Asos at $60. It gave me the opportunity to be elegant and sophisticated without spending a fortune. Wow!
I chose to pair it with white and silver accessories: a jewel clutch and a pair of silver décolleté with wide heel. I styled my hair in a simple bun, and made it bright with a pair of beautiful earrings. For the make-up I chose a pronounced smokey eyes, combined with mat red lipstick: the evening I like to dare a little more with makeup.
What do you think of this long low cost dress worn for a 18th birthday party? Can’t wait to hear your opinions! Thank you for your nice comments!
Happy Tuesday everyone!
