Vestito vintage anni ’70

Vestito vintage anni ’70.

70s Vintage Dress: a simple way to look modern when wearing vintage

Last day of Paris Fashion Week I attended two shows that have really left me breathless! They were the fashion shows of Moncler Gamme Rouge and Miu Miu. The first set in the high mountains, with Alps in the background and snow-covered catwalk, the second one, instead, hit me for the contemporary vintage style with brocade fabrics mixed with denim and worn with slippers embellished with crystals. For my outfit of the day, actually, I had not expected at all to wear what you see in the picture. But unfortunately due to the incessant rain, I could not really go out with bare legs, so I decided to make a stop in a very special vintage boutique, which unfortunately I do not remember the name of, that is located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris, Le Marais, to see if I could find something more appropriate for shelter from the rain!
So I came across this lovely 70s vintage dress, made of silk and with the detail of a big collar, puffed sleeves and a row of small rounded buttons on the front. To make it more current, I chose to pair it with a men’s lace up shoes decorated with stones (which I’ve already worn in an outfit HERE) and a rainbow polka dots bag.
I hope you like my look! Let me know what you think of how I mixed vintage with current leaders of my wardrobe in the comments below if you like!
Have a nice Thursday!
PS: Today on Swarovski Crystal Blog is online a new post where I show you all the best looks I saw at Paris Fashion Week catwalks! From Dior to Miu Miu, frome Elie Saab to Balmain and Valentino… Check it out HERE!
