And then I’ve seen Her. The blue box. The gift I have always dreamt from Him. Especially in a day like this. Especially with an engraving. To always bring Him with me. To feel like he was by your side just looking at my arm. I couldn’t explain the feeling when I saw the box. Not for the gift itself, that’s absolutely marvelous. But for the most marvelous thought that has brought Her among my hands.
E poi vedi Lei. La scatolina azzurra. Quella che hai sempre sognato di ricevere da Lui. Specialmente in un’occasione così. Specialmente con un’incisione. Per poterlo portare sempre con te. Per poter guardare il tuo braccio e sentirlo lì al tuo fianco anche nei giorni in cui siete lontani. Che spiegare la sensazione provata quando l’ho vista è assolutamente impossibile. Non per il regalo in sé, assolutamente meraviglioso. Ma per l’ancor più meraviglioso pensiero che l’ha portata lì tra le mie mani.
