2. Suole e copri-tallone in gel.

Buon martedì a tutti voi!

How to make heels comfortable: the secrets to wearing high heels without any pain

Star of today’s outfit a pair of jewel shoes with high heels that made me dream since the first sight! For my fourth day of Milan Fashion Week I decided to wear them, in one of the look that frankly it is one of my favorites of the moment. Spring parka with big pockets, oversize white shirt and cropped jeans with the edge of small pompom in red velvet, of the exact same shade of my brand new Tods Double T mini suede pochette. This is the outfit I wore for Antonio Marras and Blumarine fashion shows… Let’s get straight to the point. How did I make these heels comfortable and resist so many hours on it? Here are my little secrets to wearing high heels without feeling any pain!

1. Anti-blisters stick and patches. They can be found in pharmacies and are a blast! The stick helps to make the skin slip, thus avoiding the annoying burning due to friction with the shoe. The patches, instead, are used retrospectively to effectively treat any bubbles and at the same time eliminate the pain they cause… I always keep a spare pair in my wallet, ’cause you never know when you’ll need it in your life.
2. Gel insoles and strips. The soles should be included in the plant of the shoe, where the foot is placed, and are used to relieve the pressure and prevent it from sliding too far forward. There are also the strips, meant to be applied over the heel of the shoe and to the edges, to make it more comfortable.
3. No-show socks. If you have the chance, because the shape of the shoe let you do it, put on a pair of no-show socks. They serve to decrease the friction of the shoe on the foot. Obviously they have to be very light and flesh color otherwise everyone would notice them.

I hope this post will be helpful for you. Let me know in the comments if you have any other tips or tricks on the subject, I’d love to read them!
Happy Tuesday to you all!
