When oversize coat is perfect for a romantic dinner
I always thought that it’s essential to take care of every details of your outfit and your style, especially when it deals to have a romantic dinner with your boyfriend. It does not matter if it’s the first date, the hundredth or thousandth.
Sounds crazy but I had my first date with my boy almost 9 years ago and every time I go out with my him I want nothing left to chance. I care a lot about the makeup, the hair, the look and also the accessories. I don’t like to overdo it or to wear clothes that are not related to my own personality: I prefer to focus on femininity and elegance.
For one of our date I decided to wear one of the leading trends this autumn 2014: the oversize coat. I decided to pair it with a very warm wool sweater and a velvet mini skirt, which reproduced well the lining of my coat. On my feet a pair of black heels, of course: wear this kind of shoes only if you are able to walk perfectly in them. So bad walking with a girl who stumbles at every step, isn’t it?
I also wore a bracelet that is very important to me: it’s the new modular Nomination bracelet: I chose 4 links that tell some important moments of my love story: the number 4, the treble clef, a cat and a handbag. I don’t want to unveil the story under them all at once: I prefer to tell you little by little the story under every single link.
The first link is a number, my favorite, the one I choose every time they say “Pick a number from 1 to 10”. I think it’s my good luck charm, and on several occasions it was for real. This number is 4. It was the 4th February 2006, almost 9 years ago, the second half of the fifth year of high school, when I went out for the first time with my boyfriend. I had the unawareness of every teenagers: I went out with him without knowing where I wanted to go and where this story would take me and after 9 years we are still here sharing a love that grows day by day. We girls tend to build too much overhead when we start dating a guy and this is a big mistake. Live the present moment, enjoy every time, without ever asking what will happen tomorrow. The stories need to be pampered every day with the same passion and the same excitement of being together.
