6 trendy nail colors for spring 2016
After years of semi-permanent and gel nail polish applications, lately I’m rediscovering the beauty of my natural nails. And, above all, to be able to play whenever I want. Changing color to my nails. Often, even more than once a week. It might be sprin… It might as well be that, since it came home the new Dior Vernis collection of nail polishes for spring 2016, I rediscovered the passion for manicure: it relaxes me, it makes me feel more beautiful and allows me to take a small and justified break from my iPhone! Here are my top 6 spring nail colors!
1. PIVOINE 650
Red is one of my favorite colors for nails, always. This shade is dedicated to red peony, pivoine in French.
2. BELUETTE 301
A light blue with a touch of green water. Perfect for summer, to enhance your tan.
3. LILAC 491
Another color among my favorites. This pink lilac has a creamy finish, but it quickly becomes opaque with a second coat.
4. COSMIC 656 + ULTRADIOR 765
The new shade Cosmic is a coral red with a shimmering touch and I find it looks even better when paired to the shade Ultradior, a glaze that seems gelatin in pomegranate color with a thousand ultra glossy reflections.
5. GARDEN 302
A unique shade. It is a yellow that changes into pale green and requires at least two, preferably three, coats.
6. CRUISE 676
Finally my favorite, which I’m also wearing while I am typing these lines. It is a deep creamy pink with golden and pink reflections.
The texture is light, smooth and delicate, easy to apply. The colors are sheer, but brilliant. These glazes may differ slightly from my nails. I must say that I applied, as a first step, the protective and hardener Base Coat Apricot and then I completed my manicure with the Gel Coat, also by Dior Vernis. This procedure allows my nail polish to last for five full days. Or at least to postpone the first chipping on the fourth day.
