Natural make-up: My Experience with Rossi Profumi
My favorite make-up of all is the non-makeup makeup. That light, impalpable make-up, which improves the skin without weighing it down nor hide it. What you see in the pictures was realized by Rossi Profumi. I was invited in the beauty store of Via Bertola 20, Turin, to discover in preview the promotion #TruccoRegalaTrucco (for my non-Italian readers, it’s a promo you can read in detail below about) and to take advantage of their free make-up service. I asked the make-up artist Gloria to realize upon me a natural make-up, to enhance my features and look the best possible in pictures. After preparing my skin with a moisturizer and an eye cream, she applied with a brush a light BB cream. After perfected my skin, having no particular problems, it was the turn of a very light contouring with a product in stick, massaged with the brush with quick, precise movements. To cover dark circles che applied a layer of slightly orange concealer. Finally an illuminating powder added a touch of brightness to my face: a dusting on the bow of Cupid and around the mouth, nose and above the cheekbones. Last step to complete my base was the light application of a perfectly blended rosy blush on her cheeks. To complete my natural make-up I wanted to be daring with a red matte lipstick, that was applied in a very particular way. First she defined the outline with a pencil lips, insisting especially around the corners of the mouth. Then it was the turn of the lipstick in stick, gently dabbed on the lips and then finished with the brush. For a very natural effect of red lips. A result which I thoroughly enjoyed: infinitely thank you Gloria for teaching me this technique!
