How to protect hair from pollution. If you follow me on Instagram you may already know that last week I went to the Occitania region to visit the iconic places of the brand Klorane and discover the botanical ingredients with which their hair and body treatments are made. For 50 years, Klorane has been growing its plants (cornflowers, oats, flax …) in the South of France: right here, not far from the beautiful Montpellier, their experts have found a very special plant, able to purify stagnant or polluted water . This plant is the Aquatic Mint. Thus, after several years of research, they succeeded in extracting from its aerial parts a 100% natural juice capable of filtering water and eliminating all polluting agents. After discovering it, I decided to bring all the products with me and test them during my week on the Amalfi Coast so now I can tell you all about it!
How to protect hair from pollution with Klorane
I have been looking for natural and good products for my hair for some time. Today we all, both producers and consumers, are more and more aware of the importance of protecting the environment and the sea and therefore the need to choose eco-responsible products.
So I approached Klorane, a natural, botanical and ethical brand, and its new line based on aquatic mint, designed to protect hair from smog and pollution damage. And I discovered how harmful it could be to the health of the scalp and the hair and how long it could even lead to their fall.
I noticed how, when I go home after a day of appointments and errands and inevitably exposed to dust, exhausting emissions and cigarette smoke, my hair looks heavy, dull, dull. They often smell bad.
So I was more than happy to have found these new products that eliminate impurities, leaving my hair clean and light! The products in question are 3:
– first apply the Detox Shampoo which eliminates impurities and pollutants at 97% (I noticed that it leaves a pleasant effect of freshness on my scalp);
– then move on to the Protective Conditioner which creates an anti-pollution shield, preventing the polluting substances from settling and fixing on the hair fiber and thus helping to keep the hair shiny;
– finally, when necessary, you can use the Purifying Spray that detoxifies the scalp and neutralizes unpleasant odors for up to 6 hours, without weighing down the hair.
