Street Style Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks 2018
Street Style Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks. I am just back from Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks, where the collections for the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2018 have been presented. Street Style launched the latest trends: here is an overview of my fashion and beauty looks!
Street Style Paris and Milan FW: My fashion and beauty looks
MILAN.
During Milan Fashion Week I was in good hands of a make-up artist by Givenchy Beauty who put makeup on my face every day. Every morning he knocked on my door, opened his suitcase full of products and asked me what outfit I would wear, so as to propose a make-up look that would enhance it as much as possible. First he focused on the base, also giving me great tips, but you will already know if you followed my tutorials on Instagram Stories @lauracomolli! To prepare my skin, after the moisturizer he applied Teint Couture Cushion Glow, a product of the new Couture Outlines collection launched for this spring and inspired by the colors and textures of the high fashion collections. It is an illuminating emulsion containing two shades of mother of pearl, pink and white, to illuminate the face: it can be applied both before foundation and then at the end of the make-up, giving a fresh and radiant effect to the skin. Then he moved on to the foundation, choosing for me a fluid and moisturizing formula: Matissime Velvet number 04, a natural color with neutral undertone, to be applied with a brush or sponge. To cover the dark circles he used the illuminating concealer pen called Mister Light number 02. Finally a veil of powder Prisme Libre. Thanks to the make-up artist I discovered that Givenchy Beauty products have a round molecule that does not thicken and that allows them to mix perfectly: it is possible, once applied the foundation, the concealer and even the powder, to add further product in cream only where there is the need for more coverage. On the eyelids we played with eye shadows and eye-liner during the days, always finishing the eye makeup with a veil of Noir Couture Volume mascara, which separates and volumizes perfectly the lashes thanks to the exclusive design of the applicator: the white fibers attract, extend and separate the eyelashes, while the black ones load the ideal dose of product to deposit it on all lashes! As you can imagine, it has become my favorite mascara. On the lips I got to try the 7 brand new Le Rouge Mat lipsticks presented for spring 2018, which are fantastic starting from the packaging to get to the ultra-pigmented formulation. In the photos below I wear the number 215 Neo Nude!
SWEATER + SKIRT: Zara. SNEAKERS: Balenciaga. SOCKS: Tommy Hilfiger. EARRINGS: Zalando.
As a second make-up look, we chose warm tones to match my knitted outfit! The make-up artist applied on the eyelids the Ombre Couture eye shadow number 02 by Givenchy Beauty, a lightly peach color that is an excellent base by uniforming the skin, veins and undertones. Thanks to its cream formula it is easy to apply (with the brush but also with the fingers) and lasts for hours (it is also waterproof). He then defined the eyelash rhyme with a dark brown eye shadow. On the lips still again the lipstick Neo Nude, which has a cold undertone, in contrast to the rest of the make-up.
TOTAL LOOK: Cristiano Burani. EARRINGS + SUNGLASSES: Zara.
Third makeup and third look at Milan Fashion Week street style: still peach eyeshadow and nude lips, but this time we added a thin line of Black Couture Eyeliner! The outfit plays on shades of pearl gray with a wool sweater, pants and vest, all oversized, to which I have paired some white sabots and a touch of color with the bag. Among the trends of this spring there are certainly white shoes, whether are leather ankle boots, sneakers, sabot or mules!
TOTAL LOOK: Calcaterra. SWEATER: H&M. BAG: Les Petit Joueurs. SHOES: Zara.
I then changed outfit to go to another fashion show, choosing a fur-lined denim jacket that I paired on a pair of spectacular pants with maxi ruffles. As accessories, a Fendi bag and my new extreme cat-eye sunglasses by Moschino!
DENIM JACKET: Daniela Vezza. PANTS: Cinq a Sept. BAG: Fendi. SUNNIES: Moschino.
On the fourth day of MFW I dared a little more opting for a strong eyeliner. The make-up artist by Givenchy Beauty was super fast: in less than two minutes he made, again with the Black Couture Eyeliner, an absolutely perfect line! After having the base done like the other days, he then warmed up my complexion using the Poudre Bonne Mine number 04 for contouring, a compact earth tone with slightly pearlescent highlights for a very bright effect. As blush he chose the Prisme Blush number 06 Romantic. On the lips he chose another lipstick, always nude but with a warmer undertone: the exact name is Le Rouge Mat number 216 Rose Graphique. With this make-up I wore one of the most colorful and favorite look of these Fashion Weeks: a lavender sweater on rainbow trousers!
TOTAL LOOK: Etro. EARRINGS: Asos.
Another look I wore on that cold day of Milan Fashion Week was this one for Mido press conference (which you can read about HERE). A look that strongly recalls the Seventies and that I loved, so much to wear it in different versions in Paris!
JACKET + PANTS: M Missoni. TOP: Zara. SHOES: Roger Vivier. BAG + SUNGLASSES: Tod’s.
For the last day of Milan Fashion Week we decided to focus on lips, perfectly redefined with a pencil and then with a lipstick called Le Rouge Mat number 330 Pourpre Défilé. This is also a mat color and, like the others, has a very nice consistency that does not dry out the lips and lasts well throughout the day. I was wearing a jacket and trousers designed by my friend Giulia Bruni and a very special coat from Laura Strambi’s YoJ collection. It is entirely made of eco-sustainable fabrics and 100% Made in Italy. A valid alternative for those who love the effect of fur but focuses on green choices!
COAT: YoJ. JACKET + PANTS: Giuliette Brown. SHOES: Roger Vivier.
Last look from Milan: still a suit, this time in blue, by Calcaterra. For sunglasses I decided to go for a pair of Tommy Hilfiger yellow-toned lenses visor.

PARIS.
My Paris Fashion Week started with Lacoste fashion show: here the look I chose for this event!
SWEATER: Lacoste. PANTS: Cinq a Sept.
The second day I focused on one of the trendiest colors of this spring, emerald green. This is a suit designed by my friends from ChiGlo with red details, that I recalled with the accessories.
TOTAL LOOK: ChiGlo. BAG: Dior. SUNGLASSES: Zara.
It could not miss an Ultra Violet outfit, elected by Pantone as the color of 2018. I’m wearing a sweater with feather appliqués and wide pants, all from Calcaterra.
TOTAL LOOK: Calcaterra.
As I was saying before, I loved the yellow velvet suit I wore at Mido press conference so much that in Paris I have worn it in two different versions. The first one wearing only the jacket on a full camel-colored knit and trouser, adding blue jeans details.
JACKET: M Missoni. TURTLENECK SWEATER + PANTS: Calcaterra. BAG: Balenciaga.
The second time I wore it in a total look, this time changing the color combinations. No more with the blue but with the gray and silver of my Chanel glittered ankle boots.
SUIT: M Missoni. SWEATER: H&M. BAG + BOOTS: Chanel.SUNGLASSES: GentleMonsters.
In Paris I know a couple of vintage boutiques that are right next to a fashion show location. So I found this bomber jacket in shades of red that I decided to wear with a pair of mum jeans and some nice details: I wore the rainbow shoulder strap of my Dior bag as a belt and I completed the look with a pair of What For sock boots.
BOMBER JACKET: vintage. DENIM: Etro. SHOES: What For. BAG: Dior.
Paris locations are incredibly beautiful! Below you can see me at the Opera Garnier wearing a very colorful and cheerful look by Giulia Rositani!
TOTAL LOOK: Giulia Rositani.
Belt bags are still a huge trend for spring 2018! Below I am wearing one from Lina Brax in black croco leather with wing application, which I paired with a striped suit by ChiGlo.
TOTAL LOOK: ChiGlo. BAG: Lina Brax.
While I was in Paris I could not find the time to come back to one of my favorite places. And finally find the kiosk that sells pink cotton candy open!
Thank you very much Hotel Louison for having me during this Paris Fashion Week!
Happy Thursday to all of you!
