Christmas may be the most beautiful time of year to be in Paris! The city undergoes a transformation turning on its Christmas lights and it is, if possible, even more beautiful that during the rest of the year.

Lately I often find myself wearing sweatshirts. Both for events and for spare time. Under dresses, elegant coats but also in sportier version.

Originally conceived as a male garment, it has already been decades since the vest has arrived in the female wardrobe. In the recent seasons we started to see it in a maxi version, worn over the jacket or coat.

Recently a big trend of the eighties made a comeback: the bustier or corset worn over the clothes (and not below). So much that many designers have started to make clothing pieces including this particular garment, of a retro charm.

Among the strongest trends in fashion this year we can include the waterproof jacket and raincoats. Their return has been notified since the last autumn-winter’s catwalks, but it is on the current season and the next one that will be a huge deal.

As I told you last week in an a blog post, wearing the sweatshirt is very trendy! Plain or matchy matchy with pants and heels, even under a skirt or a stylish dress.

It was not my first time in the French capital, however during this trip I had the opportunity to discover a little more of this magical city.
