How to wear Military Green: My outfit idea
How to wear Military Green. After having spoken about Greenery and Niagara (respectively HERE and HERE), today I show you my outfit idea styling another of the Pantone 10 colors for 2017: Kale (name taken from a particular type of cabbage). It is a medium army green, not too dark. Being in period of Fashion Week, I had fun playing with colors…
How to wear Military Green & 1st day of PFW
I wore a vintage military green jacket over a maxi leather vest in the same color, to feel more warm in the cold Paris (do not be fooled by the sun)! I paired it with some super wide trousers and in a beautiful shade of purple. Under the jacket I chose a basic piece of my wardrobe: a black sweater in cashmere. Same color for accessories: a bag by Gedebe worn like a clutch (with the strap inside) and leather boots with pointed toe and high heels.
This is the look I wore on my first day of Paris Fashion Week. Also there M.A.C. Cosmetics allowed me to get into the backstage of the fashion shows where were used their make-up products (I’m also starting to try them out: follow me on Instagram Stories @lauracomolli to see a little preview). First appointment was at the Palais de Tokyo for theFashion Show of Rick Owens, where models wore a very natural makeup, with the peach cheeks and nude lips, which put even more emphasis on the special headgear.
In the evening it was the turn of Isabel Marant. I must say a few words on location, absolutely marvelous: the Palais Royal. I love its gardens and every time I go to Paris I make sure to go there: they are magical. This was the first time I visited the palace inside: the halls did not disappoint at all my expectations!
I leave you to the photos of my outfit idea with military green and purple! What do you think?
I wish you all a wonderful Thursday!
