We are better with pets: The new campaign sponsored by Purina and ENPA
Once again I’m partnership with Purina, to support their brand new campaign named We are better with pets. A campaign to sensitize people to commit themselves to making the world a more pet friendly place, favoring the access of animals in public places and tourist facilities of the Italian territory. An initiative that I care particularly about, because it promotes the valuable contribution that animals make to society, improving our health and our well-being. Precious is an understatement. Those who live together with an animal already knows how fundamental it is their presence. And how sad is the distance. Fact I realized even more lately, finding myself to travel very often and to go really home for a few hours. But my cat Kiki, as always, surprised me! She has never held a long face or acted like she was offended. She become super sticky and does not give me a second, throwing open the door of my room, or falling asleep in my arms! And when I pet her and hear her purring, it melts my heart and for a moment I forget everything around me.
Pets enrich our lives and if we truly love them, can not stay with our arms folded knowing that we can do something for the needy.
My commitment? Take care of my friend Rossana’s pet when she is going out of town for holidays. Continue to respect the life and dignity of all living beings, humans and animals, and transmit this teaching through my blog and my social media to as many people as possible. To contribute together to a more positive future, a world where people and animals can live better together!
I have joined this campaign with pleasure, perhaps because Kiki comes from a shelter, and I know that there are so many other kittens and puppies that were not as lucky as she was to find a family and who needed food and care. And what are you waiting for? You have until July 31st to join the movement We are better with pets and donate a meal to the less fortunate pet living in shelters of ENPA, the Italian National Agency for the Protection of Animals. Just share your personal commitment (which may be as varied, as do dog sitter to the dog of a friend out of town or to provide a bowl of water outside your restaurant) and then post it to your social media remembering to add the hashtag #WeAreBetterWithPets and tag your friends, inviting them to do the same. For every personal commitment Purina will donate a bowl, a.k.a. a full meal, to ENPA. The goal is to reach 100,000 bowls… Are you with us?
