2016 Coats trend: ethnic coat
Today I want to show you my first coat of the season! Yes, because climate here in Paris is chilly and to avoid a cold I decided to cover myself properly!
The 2016 coats trend sees two protagonists models: the long oversized coat and the kimono cut coat (short, collarless and with wide sleeves) like mine. In strict military style or in colorful ethnic print, with striped patterns, tartan or check… Coats for fall-winter 2016 can be described with three simple words: showy, colorful and never dull!
I chose a black coat with kimono cut with an ethnic pattern made by uber colored mini fringes. Under it I wore a basic black shirt and a pair of culottes pants with side bands, in a pattern which is also ethnic and matched the decor of the coat. For the shoes, I chose a pair of comfortable multi buckle heels, which are my latest obsession! I find them so feminine, elegant and vintage taste that I really wear them with everything. The pair you see today I have bought at Deichmann, the right place to find beautiful shoes, but also fashionable and affordable!
This is the look that I wore during my second day of Paris Fashion Week, where I attended the fashion shows of Acne and Vivienne Westwood!
What do you think of it?
I wish you all a wonderful Tuesday!
Thank you Hotel Splendid Etoile Paris for hosting me!
