Christmas shopping tips
December has officially started and with it the search of Christmas gifts and of the outfit to wear in the many occasions between Christmas and New Year’s Eve! This year I started early: if you already follow me on social media, you may know that a couple of weeks ago I spent a whole day at Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet! It is one of the five Italian shopping center of McArthurGlen Group (remember last summer I visited Castel Romano? HERE you can read all about it): it’s about a half hour drive from the beautiful Venice and boasts a nice selection of luxury brands and not only, with discounts from 30% to 70% all year round! What better place to go Christmas shopping ?! Here’s all I’ve found!
When I first arrived I headed straight for one of my favorite boutique, Blumarine, where I was sure to find the perfect look for the holidays. I found not one, but two party outfit! The first is entirely red Christmas toned and consists of a lace A silhouette dress and a knee-lenght coat. Two elegant and versatile pieces that can be worn together now during Christmas time, but also during the rest of the year in a thousand other pairings.
The second party look I chose starring a beautiful long dress in cream-colored wool decorated with sparkling stones at the neckline, which I paired with a multi-colored coat in fur. I love wearing white in the winter and I recommend buying a piece of this color if you do not own it yet!
Continuing my Christmas shopping walking I stopped by Philipp Plein where I found a wonderful leather bomber jacket with the sleeves entirely studded with pearls and crystals: jackets in this model will continue to be a huge trend for all 2017!
After the delicious lunch break at Sutto Osteria it was the turn of Casadei, where there was a beautiful selection of shoes and clutch perfect for the holidays!
At Paul Smith boutique I found some wonderful colorful scarves that I find perfect as a gift for your boyfriend/husband. There were also a huge selection of socks and cute t-shirts perfect as gifts for both him and for her and baby!
Then I went to look around at Just Cavalli: also in this shop the selection of evening dresses was amazing… I was very much impressed by the quilted clutch in velvet, very trendy right now!
The last stop before returning home at Dsquared2: I fell in love with a hood in soft wool in ethnic style and a pair of biker boots with golden details!
I hope my tips for your Christmas shopping will have been useful… I wish you all a wonderful Monday and I’ll see you soon with new posts! In the meantime you can follow my adventures on Instagram and Instagram Stories @lauracomolli!
