Bell-shaped skirt & The third outfit of the 3rd day of MFW
If you love romantic and retrò style, this is the right autumn-winter 2016 trend for you! The bell-shaped skirt is in fashion: the kind of skirt, midi length but also shorter or longer, used between the Fifties and the Sixties. Interpreted in plain or patterned (brocade and floral on all) and made both in stiff fabrics and into lighter ones, the bell-shaped skirt is for all and looks well on any type of silhouettes. Mine is made by tulle, delicate and ethereal, with a maxi polka dots pattern. I paired it with an oversized white shirt, which I tucked in it and stopped thanks to the elastic waistband. For the shoes I chose to keep a vintage allure with a pair of velvet ankle boots (my new obsession). Only color that hushed this black & white outfit was the red touch of the details of my bag, which I then added on lips and nails.
This is the third and final look of the third day of Milan Fashion Week, worn at Tod’s fashion show. If you are wondering how it is that I managed to change looks three times, it’s all about the fantastic location of the hotel in which I was staying! Hotel Manin Milan, in fact, is central even if just out of the busy traffic of the fashion district… Easy to reach and to move through the different districts of the city!
What do you think of my outfit?
Happy Thursday to you all!
