Two days in Porto Cervo
Two days in Porto Cervo. In a hot weekend of June I had the opportunity to fly to Porto Cervo and met the twin sisters Chiara and Gloria Piscedda, creators of the clothing brand ChiGlo. Born in Sardinia but living in Milan, a few years ago they have embarked on the fashion designer’s career, driven by the desire to create clothes able to combine elements of Sardinian tradition and the contemporary fashion. If you follow me on Instagram @lauracomolli, you may remember that this winter I fell in love with one of their sweaters with the print that recalls the typical Sardinian shawl, and I had photographed it in Venice! This was the occasion to discover the PE2017 collection. Here’s the story of my two days in Porto Cervo and what did I wear!
Two days in Porto Cervo with ChiGlo
The event began as one of the most beautiful summer fairies: on board an offshore boat that sailed from Porto Cervo’s port in the direction of Spargi Island, which is next to the Maddalena. After about one hour of sailing we reached the beautiful Cala Ferrigno, where a wonderful lunch table was set up for us. We were offered some delicious picnic baskets, they gave us flower crowns to put in our hair and we lunched comfortably lying on maxi ChiGlo pillows, overlooking one of the most beautiful sea in the world!
I chose the Sundalia bikini in orange, of which I fell in love with the top, which I think I will use during my upcoming travels also with high waist shorts. It has a very special shape because it is triangular: it reminds me of the collars of the traditional Sardinian clothes! It has also beautiful embroidered poppies and a really unique lace game. And then, please take a look at that beach!
After lunch it was the turn of a sailboat ride: to cover me from the wind I wore one of the Flores sweatshirts with hand-embroidered colored stones. All ChiGlo garments are produced between their born land, Sardinia, and the adoptive one, Lombardy, with great attention to detail and manuality.
When I got back to the hotel there was a surprise waiting for me in the room: a wonderful evening dress tailor made for me. Super sexy because it shows a bit of cleavage, pleated and in a beautiful agave color: perfect for the evening I would have expected in Porto Cervo with the girls!
What do you think of the looks by ChiGlo I wore during in my two days in Porto Cervo? Write me a comment below!
I wish you all a wonderful Wednesday!

I didn’t know this brand before your post, but you are right. The clothes are really beautiful and the tailor made dress is absolutely Alta Moda. Looks fantastically on you.
The idea with the swimsuit in this particular shape is also so nice, I will check out their page afterwards.
