Jacket with toggles & Military Style for Spring 2017
Jacket with toggles. Finally I’m writing a brand new blog post! Forgive me if in the last few months I have not posted as much as I was used to, but I was working on the restyling. I wanted a new blog that would give more space to what are my main passions: fashion, beauty and travel. I wanted a new blog that would give greater impact to the images (and videos that I hope to start filming soon). I wanted a new blog… And I’m so happy with how it turned! What do you think? Leave me a comment below, it would make me really happy to read it!
One of the most interesting news is that in the bottom of each post you will find, as always, the list of clothes and accessories that I wear, but not only: I will insert a section called “Shop The Post” with many identical or similar things to those in the photos, chosen by me to shop! I hope you will like it!
Let’s talk now about the main topic of the post: the look you see in the pictures, that I wore on the first day of Milan Fashion Week…
Jacket with toggles & 1st day of MFW
Military style is a very strong trend of the upcoming spring, especially with regard to jackets: parka, safari jackets, badges, decorative frogging and big metal buttons. To choose in classic military green, camouflage, blue, or in a definitely more feminine version, in white. So I did: I find that it suited better my style. I was wearing a military jacket with toggles, front zip and large silver buttons on the sleeves. The skirt below has the feature of being incorporated into the jacket: can we call it a dress ?!
For accessories I wanted to play with color matching my new Love bag by Les Petit Joueurs bought on Zita Fabiani with white sneakers by Josefinas with fur details of the same burgundy of the bag and the jacket profiles. I completed the look with my inseparable rings from May MoMA with Swarovski crystals.
The pictures of this outfit were taken between a fashion show and another in the first intense day of MFW. Started with the backstage and the fashion show of Alberta Ferretti, where I found myself short walk from the top models of the moment: the sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid, Stella Maxwell, Sara Sampaio and many others. Continued with the backstage and the fashion show of N°21 and ended with the presentations of the new collections and Falconeri and L’ED by Sara Giunti (of which soon you will see the picture on my Instagram).
I am excited to partner with M.A.C. Cosmetics, official sponsor of the Milan Fashion Week, to be their Special Backstage Reporter for the whole week! An incredible opportunity that will allow me to closely observe not only the make-up but also the clothes of the greatest designers before they go out on the catwalk, as well as to create exclusive contents to share on Instagram and Instagram Stories @lauracomolli… You are still in time to see the live video of yesterday!
If you notice something different in my hair it is because last week I went to Rome for a special session in the beautiful salon of Antonio Pruno for L’Oreal Professionnel, who helped me to renew my style for the Fashion Month. Let me know if you prefer my hair wavy or straight!
I wish you all a wonderful day and I hope to see you tomorrow with a new post!
