Metallic denim jeans: How to choose and style them
Have you already jumped on the metallic trend? I didn’t until I run into a pair of gray jeans with metallic effect that steal my heart. I was captured by the color, the fit and, above all, from the cut-out motif, revealing a few centimeters of tanned skin. I’ve found them in my town, Turin, in a premium vintage fashion boutique called Lilli La Moda Ritrovata. Lately I find myself vintage shopping very often, even here in New York: I like to customize my outfits with unique pieces, of a quality that is now difficult to find, especially at competitive prices. Moreover, when it comes to choosing “difficult” clothing to wear as metallic denim jeans, you must be very careful: the skinny models which can be founded everywhere are good for those who have long and slender legs, otherwise it is better to choose models that do not excessively highlighting them. As for pairings, I suggest to dampen the metallic effect with pieces in a different, lighter fabric. I paired mine with a white blouse with lace inserts and ruffles on the sleeves, very romantic and pretty much in contrast with the style of jeans. Finally I completed the look with marbled boots with high heels and a beautiful Dyonisus bag by Gucci in red coral Arabesque!
