Floral embroidered bomber jacket & My 2nd day of NYFW
Last February I suggest you (in a post that you can read HERE) to add the bomber jacket in your spring wishlist and, if you still have not succumbed to its charm, you have to know that you still have time! You can choose it simple or embroidered, as dictated by current fashion. For this look I was inspired from many looks sported by models and it girls, particularly those of Gigi Hadid and Olivia Palermo, which this year wore the bomber in many beautiful outfits! I simply wore a basic white t-shirt with a round neck and a pair of jeans to give a urban chic touch to my bomber jacket with embroidered flowers. Speaking about the jeans, I bought them yesterday, right here in New York City: in a break between the shows, a friend introduced me to the vintage boutiques of the Village and in one on 26th street I found so many nice things, including these jeans Levi’s 505 paid just $13. For the shoes I chose a pair that I find very feminine: patent leather, round toes, high heels and three straps that close with a silver button. The bag is my new baby: a pink Chanel Mini which I hand-carried, hiding part of the strap inside of it. Finally, a pair of sunglasses with pale pink mirrored lenses completed my outfit!
This is the look that I wore for my second day of New York Fashion Week. I must say that I have quite recovered from the jet lag and that sense of loss of which I mentioned in yesterday’s post (which you can find HERE), although I woke up very early. I saw the sunrise from my room, which is located on the seventeenth floor of the Park Central Hotel: the view from up here on Manhattan is even more spectacular! After a luscious breakfast of donut and mega cup of hot tea, I left for a few appointments and the fashion shows of Lacoste and Jonathan Simkhai, of which you can see live video on Instagram Stories and unpublished images on my Instagram @lauracomolli.
What do you think of my outfit?
I wish a very happy Sunday to you all!
