Fall 2017 Trend: What I wore at Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks
Fall 2017 Trend. What you are about to see are all the looks I’ve been wearing over the last two weeks. Do not count them, they are a lot: I’ve changed even three looks over the same day! I thought I would group them into a single post, so I would give you a general view of all those who are this fall 2017 trend… That’s all I wore at Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks!
Fall 2017 Trend: All my looks at Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks
The colors to choose this fall are red, white, green and pink, protagonists of the main fashion shows. Red is my favorite and I wore it over and over again.
On a mini dress, with extra proportions on the sleeves. Lengths of this type go well with over-the-knee boots, the fitted ones, like socks.
DRESS: Vivetta; BOOTS: Mango; SUNGLASSES: Projekt Produkt.
Another shade of red on the long dress decorated with ruches, which I paired with a Fendi’s mini bag and jewel buckle pumps.
DRESS: RED Valentino; BAG: Fendi; SHOES: Manholo Blahnik.
This fall is all about suits! Among the many I wore my favorite is what you see below, a bright red, made up of a double-breasted jacket and wide pants. The buttons are large and become a real decoration, such as leather reversers. I completed it with a bag in a different shade of red, but that was well integrated with the look.
SUIT: Cristiano Burani; BAG: RED Valentino.
Just add a touch of unpredictability to the classic gray suit: a motif made with multicolor floral buttons and a white t-shirt instead of the classic shirt!
SUIT: Alberto Zambelli; T-SHIRT: Cinq A Sept; SHOES: Dolce&Gabbana; SUNGLASSES: GentleMonsters.
Two more looks that focus on the blazer. A super versatile piece, that matches both jeans and velvet pants.
BLAZER: Mango; T-SHIRT: Gucci; TROUSERS: vintage; BAG: The Volon.
BLAZER: Delfrance Ribeiro; SHIRT: RED Valentino; JEANS: vintage; BAG: Fendi; SHOES: Manolo Blahnik.
This year has signed revival of the pouch. If you are not convinced of buying one, you can always play with the mini bags that are already in your closet and adjust the length of the shoulder strap to the waist!
CARDIGAN AND TROUSERS: Calcaterra; BAG AND BOOTIES: Dior.
Wool sweaters and cardigans are the right accessory to keep warm this fall. You can pair them with long dresses and skirts, trying not to forget to highlight the waistline (better with a belt).
DRESS: Cinq a Sept; SWEATER: One O None; MULES: Alberta Ferretti.
SWEATER AND SKIRT: Stella Jean; BOOTIES: What For.
The coolest fabric in is velvet: in Milan I wore a beautiful skirt with high waistband embroidered with a floral motif, as well as the padded shoulders sweatshirt. I wore velvet also on the sandals.
SWEATSHIRT AND SKIRT: ChiGlo; SHOES: Dolce&Gabbana; BAG: RED Valentino.
Talking about fabrics there is also the taffeta trend: perfect for highlighting the volumes created by the ruches. For a result that does not go unnoticed. Just like the fragrance I chose to have with me during Milan Fashion Week. It is called Rose de Taif by Perris Monte Carlo and is made with one of the most precious oils of the Arab world, the one from roses growing around Taif, Saudi Arabia, combined with green and citrus notes.
TOP AND SKIRT: San Andrés Milano; SHOES: Dolce&Gabbana.
I love wearing total white look in winter. And I could not wear one in Fashion Week. I chose one of great impact: the trouser has a high slit while the blouse has balloon sleeves. A pair of black velvet boots and a multi-colored purse completed the look.
TOP AND TROUSERS: Nobi Talai; BOOTIES: Dolce&Gabbana; BAG: The Volon.
The long trench coat is a must of this fall closet. There are so many alternatives to black, blue and gray: what do you think of pistachio?
TRENCH COAT: Guy Laroche; BOOTIES: Louis Vuitton; CLUTCH: Emilio Pucci.
Tartan, another great trend this fall 2017. I’ve paired it with a white shirt and a very Parisienne beret!
SHIRT: Karl Lagerfeld; TROUSERS: Rahul Mishra; BERET: Zara; BAG: Gucci.
I hope this little guide to fall 2017 trends can be helpful for you! Let me know in the comments below which is your favorite look!
Good Monday and happy start of the week for all of you!
