My Fashion Week at Hotel Manin Milan. One of the most intense weeks of the year has ended, Milan Fashion Week. This time I decided to stay in one of my favorite hotels in the city, the historic Hotel Manin Milan. I will soon show you here on the blog what I’ve been wearing during those days, but now I want to reveal some background of my stay… Here’s the story of my Milan Fashion Week!
Where to stay Milan: my Fashion Week at Hotel Manin
When you know you have to move from one place to another city several times par day, you need a strategically located hotel. So I decided for Hotel Manin Milan, where I had been in the past, always having a great time. It is close to Piazza Cavour, just a few minutes from the metro and taxis station, It also offers on-site parking. By foot, in less than fifteen minutes you will reach the Duomo and the main shopping streets. Perfect for my needs!
My room was located on the fifth floor, with a little terrace overlooking Indro Montanelli Gardens. In addition to the closet, the staff kindly place a giant reel to hang all the clothes I packed in my four suitcases on!
I like to organize my favorite accessories and have them on hand, it makes me much easier to create my looks.
Some glimpses from the balcony and a cute welcome gift! I love to be spoiled and I love fruit, both fresh and dry, to be available when, as in Fashion Week, I have little time to eat.
If you follow me on Instagram @lauracomolli, you will already know how much I like having breakfast at the hotel. Seeing a buffet so rich in choice, especially the sweet part (from cakes to plum cakes and different types of bread with jam), fills me with joy and lets me start the day with the right foot. One morning I decided to have it directly in bed!
Every Thursday night in the wonderful garden of the Hotel is organized the happy hour. Recently, the catering service has been changed, and I found it really delicious… If you’re in town I highly recommend you to go!
I have to thank the reception for having met all my requests and for the punctuality in the delivery of the invitations and packages that were sent to me during my stay!
