Yellow long dress: how to wear
One of the biggest color trends this summer (I do not know if you remember, but I’ll I mentioned earlier HERE) is yellow. A color that is for everyone. Bright, strong, bold, definitely not the easy choice to play it safe with. You have to work on it. Maybe that’s why I like it. In fact, I wear it all year round, even when I’m not tanned. When summer comes, then I have no more inhibitions… When I saw this dress I was literally enchanted: chiffon, thin straps and neck line so Nineties. So elegant. I find it equally suited for a ceremony and for a special evening. I wore it for a happy hour in my Torino.
Wear yellow is not an easy undertaking. In the past I used to prefer color contrast with shades from dark blue-purple to lilac, but now my tastes have changed. I’d pair it with nude, neutral, earth tone colors. Also with metallics like gold and silver. But the best approach for me stays with black. So I did, matching this beautiful yellow long dress along with a pair of very simple black strappy sandals. For the bag I chose the optical black and white pattern of my Patty Toy bag by Braintropy (which you may already seen me wearing in some other outfits HERE and HERE). Small but roomy, it is perfect for a night out!
What do you think of my yellow long dress? How would you style it?
Have a nice Thursday!
